Ping Pong Accessories

My students need accessories for our ping pong table including new paddles, replacement nets and ping pong balls.

My Students

All my students are inner city youth who come from very limited resources. With the budget cuts we have very little funds to add or replace equipment.

The students at our school come from all over the world.

We are a multicultural melting pot. The diversity of my student body is what I appreciate most about my students! Our students speak several different languages and some of the students only speak their native language at home.

My Project

I believe every child deserves an opportunity to receive a good education. I like to give my students choices as well as opportunities. Every student in my school will have a chance to use the ping pong table with the new accessories either during gym time, during indoor recess or when in the after school program. Some of my students are not interested in contact sports and ping pong allows them to stay active and participate.

Currently, we have a ping pong table that is a little over a year old.

I would like to revive the use of the ping pong table by replacing the net, getting new ping pong balls and a new set of paddles. The students love challenging one another and we have even had some of the staff members challenge the students!
