Pillow Fight! - Help Kids Cooperate Comfortably

Help me give my students a clean comfy rug and floor cushions for their wiggly butts!

My Project

When schools first reopened during the pandemic, my students sat at a big table separated by large panes of plexiglass. This was great for illnesses, but it was terrible for cooperative learning, comfort, or even just being able to hear each other.

Students need to be able to work together, and being comfortable while they learn improves their focus and participation.

This year we have been sitting on the floor so that learners can work in partners, I am able to lean across and listen to them read, and they can stretch out. I brought in an old rug for this purpose, but it is white and so it got dirty very fast.

Please help my learners by treating them to a clean, new rug and bright, comfy floor pillows so we can continue to learn cooperatively together! Their wiggly bodies will be so excited to see a fresh, colorful space where they can spread out while receiving support in math and reading!
