My Students

Make science education come live with more than book reading! Help our students participate in a pig dissection lab!

Our school serves over 1000 students from across the region, and the Junior High serves about 200 students.

These students are curious and excited to learn. They attend a Core Knowledge school where they master specific facts and skills at each grade. In the Junior High, we begin to make the transition from Core Knowledge curriculum to a liberal arts and science, college prep curriculum that is in the high school.

My Project

I am requesting a set of 25, single-injected fetal pigs so that all four sections of JH science can participate in the dissection lab. This opportunity will give students the chance to apply the knowledge that they have mastered to an authentic tasks.

Please give my students by donating towards our 25 pigs.

This will give my students the opportunity to participate in an authentic learning activity that challenges them to apply what they learn to an authentic task!
