My Project

As the media specialist at my elementary school, I am grateful for the privilege of working with students across multiple grade levels. I take pride in offering them opportunities to pursue topics of interest and providing relevant lessons that they can apply in their lives. This holds particularly true for my 5th-grade students.

A recent student interest survey revealed an overwhelming desire to kickstart a photography club for my 5th-grade students next year.

Photography can be a wonderful outlet for self-expression and creativity. Equipped with DSLR cameras, this club will serve as the perfect introduction to photography. I aim to teach students how to effectively use the camera equipment to achieve desired effects, along with post-editing techniques. Teaching them essential photography skills, I aim to nurture their talents and help them create lasting memories.

Additionally, through this club, students will gain valuable skills that they can utilize to create our school yearbook. This initiative will empower them to take ownership of their memories and unleash their creativity in a structured environment.
