My Students

Our middle school received over 2 feet of water from Hurricane Harvey and was declared a total loss. We live in a rural area and most of our families' homes flooded as well as our school.

We have been blessed with one replacement camera for our yearbook but now our other camera that survived Harvey has decided to die.

We need at least 2 more cameras to cover all the events that happen at our very busy middle school. My yearbook staff is an after school organization that gives their free time to document the memories of all of our students.

My Project

Our yearbook staff spends countless hours outside of class taking and editing photos for our yearbook. We will use the cameras to capture sporting events, dances, concerts, day to day activities, and special events that go on in our school.

We lost everything but one camera during the flooding from Hurricane Harvey and now it has quit working.

These cameras are a crucial for us to record all our memories good and bad since Hurricane Harvey. The yearbook will be really important this year since many of students lost all of their other yearbooks during the flood. This year is a rebuilding year at school and home for us.
