My Students

My students are excited to come to school each day and to learn from one another. They enjoy working in collaborative groups and sharing their knowledge with each other. They enjoy using their critical thinking skills to evaluate new information while integrating the arts to show their learning. They get very excited any time we can use technology in the classroom, and they aren't afraid to try something new.

Jane Goodall once said, "You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you.

What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." With this quote in mind, I want to help my students become aware of the impact they are having on the world around them.

My Project

I am asking for art supplies, picture books, and dice so my students can practice what we've been working on all year long, being creative. A lot of us are unsure of what school will look like so I want to be sure to have enough supplies for all kids. A good black Sharpie, watercolor paints, proper paper, and even a white Gellyroll pen can turn anyone into an amazing artist. Picture books inspire all of us to create new characters and tell our own stories. In math, having different kinds of dice help with number sense and math facts fluency.

Having the right right supplies makes learning fun, no matter where we are!
