This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a wonderful class, full of eager to learn kindergarten students. I have been teaching in the same school for 18 years, and still enjoy it everyday. several students in my class are not exposed to lots of technology. I am trying to introduce them to several different ways to learn. We live in a small farming community and need to update our technology we have in our classroom. My student will be attending the K-3 plus program and we would love to get started.

My Project

Our district is implementing a writing companion. We want the students to write freely.

In Kindergarten it is tough to get them to write on their own.

After thinking long and hard I realized they love to tell stories about themselves.

If I use the camera to take a picture of them doing something , print it and ask them to write about it. I am sure they will be better writers.

The camera will be used by projecting pictures of them and also printing pictures and writing about what they do , Lastly we will make a book "ALL About ME!
