Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an amazing group of third graders who are eager to learn and express themselves through writing. Some of my students are English Language Learners, and they’re working hard every day to build their vocabulary and confidence. To support their growth, I’m hoping to get Oxford Spanish-English Dictionaries for our classroom. These dictionaries will empower my students to look up words on their own, build stronger sentences, and become more independent writers. Having these resources at their fingertips will make a world of a difference helping my students not only understand English better but also celebrate and build upon their bilingual skills. Your donation, big or small, will directly support my students’ learning and confidence. The water bottle ornaments will be used for gifts to reward the students.
