Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students have such amazing potential. They are such special kids that love to learn! It is my job as their teacher to provide the best learning experiences.
Most of my students come from low-income homes and are on free and reduced price lunch.
Despite these challenges, they work hard to bridge the gap and become successful students.
I work with at-risk students who read below grade level. They love to read, but have learning gaps...by bridging these gaps...we are changing the course of their educational career!
My Project
These picture books will open up the MAGIC in my students! By using these books, I will use these books to build relationships with my students, teach academic standards, practice reading strategies, and build a love of reading in my students!
The cart will be used to store this selection of picture books for easy access for my students.
Space is an issue in my classroom and this will help resolve that issue.
My classroom is made up of students who struggle to read, and I want these books to serve as a way for my students to feel success in the classroom.
