This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special! My first grade students are full of life and fun. The students come from varying backgrounds and have different levels of support at home.

These leveled books will help each student learn how to read.

Not only will they learn to read, but they will learn the joy of reading. The books are leveled and they can therefore pick books that they are able to read. Also, there are around 30 books in each level so they will have a variety from which to choose. In order for students to learn to read, they must be reading books!
