My students need 15 piano benches and stands to help improve our Piano program.

My Students

My Piano lab can host up to 15 students. We have small and mismatched electric pianos that are falling apart. Despite this, my program fills up quickly and I have to turn students away.

Our school is about 46% free and reduced lunch, so having the opportunity to take class piano is something that many of the students would not receive otherwise.

The students are very interested in learning the piano and walk away with a new love for music.

My Project

The keyboards we currently have do not have proper seats which doesn't allow them to fully understand proper playing posture. Secondly our current pianos are sitting on tables which have worked but doesn't allow them to play at the proper height. The keyboard package I have listed will help correct these two troubling areas and allow students to learn their instrument properly. This project will easily reach 100 or more students each year!

Unless you are a student in an arts magnet school, very rarely do you have the opportunity to take piano lessons in school.

With the demand of the class, we know that we have chosen something that the students enjoy and want to take. Many current students have already decided that they want to continue playing the piano for the next school year. Some of my graduating students come back for free tutoring after school.
