Piano Class on Mute: Help Provide Students With Headphone Adapters

Help me give my students text books for class piano and headphone adapters so they can hear themselves play.

My Students

My students are extremely resilient. They have been tested in too many ways to count ranging from poverty to natural disasters; however, they still maintain a craving to learn. Each day they work hard to better themselves and their community.

I hope that I inspire my students as much as they inspire me.

My students are my communities future and I believe that future is bright.

My Project

The pianos in our high school piano class have headphone ports that are not compatible with mainstream headphones. The adapters will allow students to use personal headphones decreasing the spread of germs and allowing students to hear themselves play rather than trying to hear their piano over a room of 15 others playing.

The requested textbooks will allow each student to finally have their own textbook.

In the past students have had to share books and this is not possible now due to the pandemic. This means students have to learn from a patchwork of curriculum.
