My Project

Help us inspire future innovators with Raspberry Pi kits!

We are excited to launch a game design and development program at our High School, and we need your help to make it a reality!

By supporting our DonorsChoose project, you’ll provide our students with Raspberry Pi kits, a hands-on, affordable way to learn programming, game development and computer science concepts.

Many of our students come from underserved communities with limited access to technology. These kits will allow them to explore STEM concepts in a fun and engaging way, teaching them valuable skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity. Through this project, students will build their own mini-computers, design games, and experiment with coding languages, such as Python, Java and C#, giving them early exposure to the tools they’ll need for future careers in tech, software engineering, and game design. Eventually, the program will collaborate to build a full-sized arcade cabinet to be used to debug student projects!

Beyond the technical skills, this program is about empowering students to become creators. Instead of just playing games, they will learn to build their own, taking pride in their creations and seeing how technology can be used to express ideas and tell stories. These experiences will also help foster collaboration, as students work together to bring their projects to life.

With your donation, we can purchase Raspberry Pi kits, accessories, and memory cards, everything students need to dive into game design and development. Your support will give them the tools to dream big, explore new interests, and unlock future opportunities in technology.

Please consider donating today! With your help, we can ignite a passion for coding and game design that could shape the future for our students. Thank you for believing in their potential and helping us build pathways to success!
