Help me give my students access to digitized classroom resources through the iPad.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Almonte's classroom raised $633

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach AP Physics to 9th graders. My students learn advanced topics that require various quantitative skills such as solving systems of equations, vector analysis, trigonometry, and analyzing data. I currently teach calculations and do my examples on a whiteboard. A whiteboard is limited for several reasons: I can usually only do one thing at a time, and I consistently have to erase and re-write on the whiteboard. This causes stress in students as well—since an AP class is fast-paced, my students sometimes worry about "missing something" on the board before it's erased.
An iPad would allow me to readily digitized resources (notes, graphs, etc) and increase access for my students.
For instance, when showing my students how to analyze 2-dimensional motion, I can use the iPad to play a simulation of a rocket launch, generate a graph, and show my calculations. The iPad has multiple functionalities that allow me to toggle between different apps seamlessly with minimal time wasted. Furthermore, I can easily save/share/screenshot any activities we do. My students will no longer have to worry about missing anything—they will be able to focus on the real-time learning, taking the notes that serve them best, with the knowledge that anything they don't catch will be available for them later. They will always have the opportunity to reinforce their own understanding by revisiting topics at their own pace.
