Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love about my students ? I love their energy. When we come together for those 15 to 35 minutes everyday during recess and lunch they have a lot of energy. Our students love to play. I love when I see them during playtime, they are excited to play. They all come from different backgrounds. The way they communicate among each during the playtime makes me proud. I wish we had better equipment for our students so they can have more fun.

My Project

How will these materials make a difference in my students’ learning? It would go over and beyond. Our school playground hasn't been updated in forever. If we cant update the playground for the children, why not provide the children with better materials during recess and lunch. I think having these materials would make a huge difference for the students. For them to have better sports equipment they would appreciate taking care of their equipment a bit more. When other children go to other schools they see the difference from our school. We have a lot of old equipment still in our ballroom. To replace the old equipment with updated equipment would not only mean something to the children but to the school in general. The children would love to see that.
