I am an elementary PE teacher at a very diverse school in Seattle, WA. So much of what we do in PE is enhanced by being organized and using a variety of colors to help students visually in a large learning space like the gym or outside. We use cones, poly spots, balls, etc. to help students work in teams during games or during station work.
In addition, we use softer foam balls to help our younger students feel safe while learning throwing and catching skills during teamwork games and skills units.
