My Project

I want to be able to have my students have the chance the experience all forms of art. My students go through so much and I want to be able to teach all the forms and introduce them to more stress free creative activities. My students will learn how to create pottery and using air dry clay. My student's are very hands-on and are interested learning crafting plates, bowls so I want to be able to teach them in detail the beauty of crafting and molding in clay. Students expressed taking interest in digital art so I want to introduce lessons on photography/studio lighting. They will learn the importance of using a soft box and how 2 and 3 lighting setups effects taking someone's portraits. I will also be teaching my students how to conduct a podcast and how to structure interviews and conversations. The Mic and podcast equipment is to help my students understand setting up audio equipment and setting up a set. The goal is for my class to experience physical and media art.
