Physical Computing and CS

Help me give my students physical computing experience. I plan to implement physical computing coupled with the CS course using Micro:bits and Raspberry Pi.

My Project

I plan to expand access by assembling an equity team that would include a counselor, middle and high CS teachers, our partner, Georgia Institute of Technology, and our principal to ensure equity and access to Computer Science, specifically for girls of color. In addition, I plan to implement physical computing coupled with the CS course. By coupling physical computing and programming this will allow my students to visually see what programming can actually do with a physical device. I plan to incorporate Micro:bits and Raspberry Pis.
