Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are driven, excited, and love to learn! They come to school excited to see what the day has in store for them and ready to learn all things fifth grade! They love doing activities that include technology, their own creativity, as well as working in small groups! They accept the challenging rigor of fifth grade and take far strides every day in achieving their goals.

My students are the reason I get up every day, excited to go to my dream job.

They are a huge part of my life and I will do anything it takes to help them succeed. Many of my students come from different backgrounds in the Central Valley, however, they are all ready to learn every day!

Each of my students learns in their own unique way. Some love to sit with lap trays and learn, some love to bounce on a stability ball while learning, and some just like a good old desk and chair! Our class is vert diverse in the way they learn. I am so grateful to our donors who have helped build our classroom!

My Project

I created this project to support the health and wellness of my fifth graders. The focus is on physical and mental health.

I have included masks to protect students from COVID as well as some encouraging posters and games for mental health and social interaction.

I want to protect my students and keep them safe while also encouraging social interaction since there has been such a lack in the past couple of years!

I loved how colorful and inclusive these posters are as well. I know my fifth graders will love them!
