it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creating electronic portfolios and also creating a multimedia study guide for the lower level physics classes. This was their idea - they want to help the other students learn physics through their efforts.
This is a urban school, with 95% of the students qualifying for free lunch.
These students don't have much and the school needs resources. These students are highly motivated and really want to do a project to help out other students. The school is very large (2500 students) with various levels of student achievement. These students want to create a great, multimedia resource for other physics students to use.
My Project
These students will be learning physics while creating a multimedia study guide for other physics students. They want to do something for the other students. This was such a great thing to hear them tell me. I really was impressed with their enthusiasm and dedication to this project. My students need the multifunction printer and flip video camera for their electronic portfolios & physics project (to take video, scan pictures, and print color photos).
This project will benefit all of the other physics classes for years to come.
Students will have an excellent resource to help them learn the concepts of physics, created by other students.
