My Project

Aloha, mahalo for supporting our Integrated Science Freshmen as we are learning about the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Students will learn how radiant energy from the sun causes stunning chemical changes on the sun print paper while learning about Hawaiian petroglyphs and different designs that they can create.

We will explore photosynthesis and cellular respiration by extracting photopigments, making sunprint petroglyphs, planting seeds, and making calorimeters.

These materials help my students have hands-on activities to help them understand the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration and how they pertain to their lives.
