My Project

Let's work together to get our high school a Photography elective! Photography is a skill of documentation, self expression, and play. It is both an art and a science that has withstood the test of time. Developing skills in photography can lead to a lifelong hobby, or a career in journalism, the sciences, self employment, and more!

During the third quarter of the 23-24 school year, I would like to lead a photography elective for our kids.

Throughout the course of this elective, students will learn photography basics like the rule of thirds and camera operation, and get to practice skills in landscape photography, portraiture, stop-motion, and more! For this, I am requesting some basic level, rugged cameras, and some photo paper and albums for kids to show their work! Thank you very much for considering funding this project!
