They have also used the protractors to help measure and classify different types of angles. As a teacher, it is always a priority to help meet students' needs to set a positive foundation for learning. We made pysanky (Ukrainian eggs), Krampus-inspired masks, candles, and Swedish Dala horses. Our class of 15 students spent the days in quiet concentration, tending to their art and creating some truly magnificent pieces. This was such a fun adventure for us! It was heartening to see students emerge from their shells and encourage one another through these projects.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for the funding you contributed to make this class possible. We even ended with some extra supplies, which I will be able to share with future classes for later projects. It was such a fun break from our normal curriculum to bring our art to life. The results of which have led to incredibly articulate pieces.
