My Students

Welcome to second grade! We are brand new this year from a suburb of Salt Lake City, Utah. Our school was under construction all summer, but has finally opened its doors and allowed us to start school. We are still gathering supplies and resources necessary to teach school this year. My students are kind and thoughtful children who love school and are motivated to learn and succeed.

My second graders are very motivated by multimedia projects and their technology skills are improving everyday.

As a new school, we have limited budgets and resources. Help from Donors Choose makes it possible for teachers to keep our students engaged in learning with modern technology and projects.

One of my goals this year is to help my second grade students improve their technology skills. Golden Fields Elementary is a STEM school which stands for science, technology, engineering and math. Your donations will contribute to our success as a new STEM school and help the students learn current technology skills.

My Project

My students would like a video camera, a digital camera and an iPad to create multi-media projects and presentations for our class.

Photography and Film Making is very important in the world today, and these skills can create memories that my second graders will never forget.

Taking quality pictures and making videos are extraordinary experiences that combine the significance of art, history and digital awareness into one. If funded, my students will be allowed to make short films, take pictures and create slide show projects with the iPad letting their artistic sides run wild.
