My Students

Pre-K for All is a new program within the New York City Department of Education that provides all four year olds with full day quality education. Pre-K for All gives children stronger reading and math skills.

My site is a Pre-K Center exclusively dedicated to pre-k students.

We are located in Brooklyn and have a diverse population.

We have a center based learning model. The students learn by engaging in purposeful play while teachers engage the students in meaningful conversations.

In my program we like to provide lessons that are interactive so the children can learn by doing.

My Project

Last year I received a generous donation of a printer and a laminator. My class is in need of refill supplies so that we can continue to have picture support. Having a photo printer will allow me to print photos of their learning experiences to display in the classroom.

With young children the best way for them to learn is to engage in meaningful play.

With a photo printer I would be able to capture their learning experiences.

The pictures printed are sent home with the children so they can have their pre-K memories forever. It also gives families an inside look on what's is going on in our classroom daily.
