My students need the Velbon tripods to help with some of the video production and photography they do. There are also some hotshoe mounted external lights that will help immensely.
In my school, the students that are a part of this program are some of the hardest working in the halls. They do a great job of working together and collaborating on their projects and individually are working to make themselves better in a variety of areas from photography and video to writing and design.
The diverse mix of students come from all areas of the school and a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds.
They are great kids who work to give their all day in and day out.
My Project
These lights and tripods would be a great use to the students in the journalism program at our school. They would be used for both photo and video production students as well as those working with other types of multimedia.
We have been piecing together many old, broken tripods for far too long and some put our cameras in danger.
These sturdy tripods would be able to withstand much use by students and give them the tools they need to help bring their work to life.
The lights would be an excellent compliment to use with these and our cameras as they would provide additional light for photo and video shoots where and when it's needed. These are some very affordable lights that we would make go a long way.
