My students need different phonetic resources to gain the key Kindergarten Standards, and the Letter of the Day pocket chart to help them focus on the essential skill for the day.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Kindergarten students are eager learners. My students come from low socio-economic backgrounds and they treasure every piece of academic knowledge. It is always gratifying to hear, "Teacher, B is for ball!" They love to demonstrate their skills.
In Kindergarten children need myriad of resources to build their foundational phonics skills. Did you know it takes at least 40 exposures to a particular skill for an average child to retain the skill? My students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and the only academic materials they are exposed to are at school.
If my project is fulfilled I can give my students the exposure they need to become phonics masters and fluent readers. Reading is the best present a teacher can give their students and with your support we can make it happen. Please help my students be the best they can be at learning to read. Students will be actively engaged while I use the letter of the day pocket chart and the phonics games. These activities will help them grasp the skills they need to become effective readers.
Phonics is the first step to becoming fluent readers. You will be giving my students gift of learning to read step by step. Please donate today!
