This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Title I students are hard workers, but they have missed out on key phonics skills when COVID caused many to miss out on school for chunks of time. With these explicit, fun, hands-on phonics activities students will be excited to learn. All of these phonics activities will be used directly with kindergarten through third grade students during intervention tier 2 time. These detailed phonics kits will be able to directly address the academic learning gaps based on a phonics screener I have already done with the students of our school. I look forward to helping little minds to grow!
