My Project
I am an interventionist for my school and I have the opportunity to work with students in every grade. I work with students K-6 and provide interventions in reading and in math. My students are resilient but are well below grade level and need interventions to help deepen their understanding in reading and in math. I love being able to work with them every day!
I need decodable books and other resources In order to meet the various needs of my students.
Decodable readers are an important resource because they help students to sound out words using decoding strategies. Magnetic letters will be a useful tool when using our magnetic wands with various decoding interventions. I would also love a small magnetic table top easel to use as I give instruction to my small groups. I know that that these tools will help my instruction and help students have hands on materials that will give them practice with reading and deepen their understanding.
