Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Believe it or not, COVID-19 has negatively impacted younger students the most. With both distance learning and teaching, while wearing a mask, students have not properly learned the essential skills of phonics and phonological awareness.
Phonological awareness and phonics are imperative skills to properly learn to read.
These materials will engage beginning readers while they learn both the required and important skills necessary to become readers.
Thank you for helping to make a positive impact on our young readers. The future depends on these students making up for lost time due to COVID-19.
