My Project
In the heart of our Title 1 school, where students grapple with the challenges of immigration, being refugees, and trauma, I am continually inspired by the tenacity and eagerness to learn displayed by my exceptional students. Many are two grade levels or more behind in reading, making the need for strong foundational skills paramount. The phonics-based books in this project are not just resources; they are lifelines to literacy. Each book serves as a building block, helping these resilient learners construct a solid foundation for their educational journey.
