My Project

Science of reading has changed teaching students how to read for the better. Students are learning to not only read but how to spell and why words are spelled the way they are. There is no more memorizing. The students are learning the rules and can apply the skills to all words.

My students meet with me for 30 minutes a day but have an additional 20 minutes in the classroom and can be practicing the skills I teach.

The TPT gift card will allow me to buy personalized centers and worksheets that the students can use in class to work on the specific skill I am working on. The next day, they can show me their practice sheet and we can review any skills they are still struggling with.
