This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
F. Elementary is a Title 1 School with students from all over the world. Our community is rich in diversity, culture, and languages and many of our students are English-learners. I want to provide them with a Science of Reading aligned scope and sequence for reading instruction that is research-proven and really works. This systematic phonics and phonological awareness program will be a valuable component of our curriculum.
I also want to be able to satisfy the curiosity of these young minds.
By providing them with the supplies needed for their various science experiments and explorations, I will be able to enrich their science lessons and give them the hands-on learning they deserve.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
