My Project

I am requesting snap build phonics, beginning sound phonics and other phonics activities for our reading center. These activities help my students learn that the letters represent sound of the spoken language. Students will learn letter sound relationship and spelling patterns. They will learn to blend sounds of letters to decode unfamiliar words by sounding them out.

My students work in small reading groups everyday this allows me to meet the needs of all learners and help them become competent and enthusiastic readers.

During small group reading we focus on phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency and reading comprehension. The materials that I am requesting will help students develop phonics skills during small group time.
