This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are so excited to be back in the classroom. My students are so resilient and have defied the odds by living through a pandemic while coming to class each day ready to learn and interact with their peers. My students are ready to dig in and learn all that they can.

As we all know hands-on activities make learning fun.

One area that continues to be of need is Phonics. Having hands-on activities for my students is so important for their development. This opportunity will allow my little ones to showcase their learning while having fun. For most of my students, kindergarten is their first experience in a classroom setting. These resources will allow them to have access to developmentally appropriate practice all while learning in our classroom environment.

My Project

Will these printable materials my students will be able to grow in their phonics skills through hands-on learning. My goal is to print the phonics activities and use them in centers for my students. With the activities printed and laminated they will be able to be used for years to come.

These phonics games are highly engaging and build on the students' skills by engaging in using all of the five senses.

As they progress through the activities the students demonstrate their understanding of how words and sentences are put together.
