Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Young learners need many different tools to help them become readers. These hands-on phonics materials will be engaging and fun to make the learning meaningful.

My school is a small, Title I school where a lot of my students qualify for the reduced price or free lunch program.

Many students come from diverse cultural backgrounds. Most are English language learners, speaking English as their second language. My Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten students come to school eager to learn each day.

My Project

My students need word builders, a magnetic letter kit, and phonics stamps to use during literacy center time. With the "Fill in the blank" phonics stamps, my students will be able to practice recognizing the beginning sounds, middle sounds, and the ending sounds during center time. With the magnetic letter kit and the magnetic word builders, my students will be able to build words and sentences. With these phonics skills, my students will be ready to read!

These fun learning centers wouldn't be possible without supporters like you!
