I have the privilege of working in small intervention groups with a variety of grade levels all day long as our site literacy specialist. My students are awesome, curious, and sometimes discouraged in reading.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and grades, they are always ready to tackle each day with enthusiasm and hard work! They have wonderful, can-do attitudes and appreciate the process of learning and growing.
We are unique in that we are the largest school in the district serving preschool - 5th grade as well as having several special education classes on campus.
Our school has a great spirit and dedicated teachers! Our families make our community exceptional as well! We also serve a lot of military families at my school which is such an honor.
The Elkonian Dry Erase Boards and Rekenrek's will be a great support for my small intervention groups to support both decoding and encoding to build their literacy skills.
