My Students

My students are so special! They have bright personalities, big imaginations and lots of energy!

I teach in an area composed of mostly low-income families.

Our school receives very little funding when it comes to meeting our needs. Most of the time we have just enough supplies and many of them are purchased by myself or my family. I’d like to do something special for my class.

My Project

Each day I get online and give a virtual lesson. My students don't have books or letters to follow along with so the learning isn't sticking. I'd like to deliver magnetic letters so each one can watch my lesson daily and manipulate sounds from their own homes. These materials would go a long way in helping them still be connected. We are all scrambling for materials right now but I feel especially sorry for my own children. They don't have everyday school supplies at home and often I provide them at school.
