My Students
I'm a teacher in a low-income, Title I school, and the kids need a lot. The students are faced with many challenges daily, either at home if they don't have food to eat or at school with daily challenges. My class is full of 20 loving, eager, and caring students.
My students have many challenges at home which I can not control, but I can control the situation at school.
The students grow so much in a year academically and socially. I am so excited to start this next part of the year with these wonderful students.
My Project
While we have been at home the last year and learning without some materials I want the students to be able to use the most while in the classroom.
Using tactile and hangs on materials will help with phonics and word recognition.
Sounding out words and being able to build the words with blocks will help in small groups and individual student growth.
Working with all students in the classroom and on individual student plans this will allow the students to focus on their needs. They can use thees games for group or on their own.
