My students enjoy the math blocks to have a better understanding of place value. Because of you students have an extra reading resource to use during small groups. Storyworks provides students with colorful engaging text, while also providin practice/support for ELA standards. Most curriculm text don'e peak srudents intrest and that can be a downfall in getting them to grasp a concept, but with this resource we can practice and have fun with a text simultaneously. This project included a lower level version as well, so students who struggled with grade level text were not left out. The different levels of games has helped to prepare and plan small groups for them. They work well with the sounds and the blends of the cards.\r\nThe materials are full of realistic pictures and really help my students learn new vocabulary and pictures. \r\nMy younger students really love the sorting objects.
