My Project

Students in first grade are working hard on learning to read and compose or decompose words. The games will help students to sound out words and identify the beginning, middle or ending sounds. Students need these base skills in order to be proficient readers and to understand the rules set out when sounding out words.

Another area that students need help in is their ability to rhyme and to recognize rhymes.This is another skill that is missing in many students and I hope to bridge these gaps to help my student be fluent readers.
