Phonemic Awareness: Supporting All Readers and Especially Students With Dyslexia!

I need the IMSE Virtual/Asynchronous Phonological Awareness Course training modules.

My Project

I have been studying hard to learn as much as I can about dyslexia over the course of my career. My training has been wonderful, and working with students who struggle with reading difficulties, including dyslexia is my absolute passion. I am requesting that this virtual training tool be sent to me so that I can complete the asynchronous modules.

I have passed my KPEERI exam which is recognized by the International Dyslexia Association, and I am so excited to be able to help students, who are often severely overlooked in all types of educational systems.

This doesn't happen at our school, and I am thrilled, and it has been my dream to work toward accomplishing this at our school for so many years. This summer, I would like to use some of my vacation days to take a virtual course on Phonemic Awareness through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education.

I am already well-versed in this area, but I want to stay very current and I really want to get the most up to date information from the very best. This training is also very well connected to the Orton Gillingham Training that I already have. Who knows, maybe someday, I will be able to teach this course to other educators so that together, we can reach many more children who struggle with reading!
