My Project

I am requesting tools to help our students work on their phonemic awareness skills. Building phonemic awareness skills in students is the foundation for strong readers.

We want to provide our K5 through 2nd grade classes with multisensory phonemic awareness kits to be used during small group instruction.

The storage boxes will be used to organize the materials for teachers. The bingo chips and magnetic wands help students push sounds they hear in words. The compact mirrors help students see the way the sounds look when they say them correctly. All of these tools will be so beneficial to our students.
