I service the entire school as a social-emotional learning teacher. This is a brand new position at my school. If given these resources, my students will greatly benefit. If gifted this TV, my classroom will support the universal design for learning technique. COVID-19 has clearly impacted learning for students who were enrolled since 2019-2022. I can see those grades who missed any in person learning time, have some behavior or emotional struggles. Even when schools opened to all day, in person learning, but masks were required, affected their learning ability. A lot of my students (even in 2nd grade) have very low self-esteem. We work on daily affirmations and loving ourselves daily. The structure of my p4c class requires multiple ways to stimulate questioning from students. Being able to show short video clips about social emotional learning will help engage more students. I'd also like to start showing keiki yoga for us to follow along. We also do a lot of mindfulness activities. There are a lot of good resources (videos) to help children engage in mindful activities, for example, youtube. My class is dedicated in supporting social-emotional learning. I am very thankful for your donation in supporting the keiki in our community. Aloha!
