My Students

My classroom is centered around kindness. I have 28 students who love to learn and try new things. We study a variety of subjects from American history, matter, mathematics, language arts, earth science and so much more!

Persistence & determination are the key to success in our classroom.

Each child has a unique style of learning. Books, experiments, activities, and games are all fantastic examples of how we learn in our classroom. I try to make our classroom environment have a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere!

My Project

As a 5th grade teacher, we are constantly running out of supplies. We use pencils, erasers, white board marker, glue sticks, folders, and so much more on a daily basis. Often it is up to the teacher to supply these types of things and having these items would make teaching a lot easier (especially with COVID). Students should not be sharing supplies with COVID - 19 going around. I try my best to make sure everyone has their own crayons, pencil pouches, pencils, books, etc.

Almost all of the supplies on my list get used on a daily basis which makes them essential to my classroom.

We also do 3 book studies throughout the year and I really want each student to have their own book to follow along. Having this will make things cleaner so that students are not sharing supplies.
