Please help me give my students colorful rugs, decorations, art supplies, storage, and other accessories to inspire their creativity and showcase their art in our art center.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We need an art center! My excellent students love to trace, draw, and show their creativity through art. Without an art center in class, it can be difficult for students to access creative activities as we explore the curriculum. I want my students to have a space they can call their own and express themselves.
Help my Petite Picasso have access to art supplies and accessories to create an organized art center so their creativity isn’t stifled and their artistic nature can flourish.
The colored paper, scissors, and craft items would be used to create themed activities and impromptu artwork daily. The rug, curtains, storage crates, and shelves would be used to decorate and store craft items in our newly created space. The speaker would be used to listen to calming music during activities. The blocks would be used to build structures and play during art activities.
We appreciate any help with this project. My students love to draw as an outlet for their emotional and sensory needs. Thank you for helping us.
