My Students

The students in our preschool are all low-income families and really benefit greatly from the supports we can offer them! They are always excited and ready to learn and have really warmed my heart throughout this year! They have been resilient and learned to adapt and grow even through all life has thrown at us this year.

My Project

Our curriculum will soon be switching to a pet study and I am very excited to give the students real world examples of how people work with pets in the real world! Our Dramatic play area has been a house, a Doctors office and a news station! I would like to turn it into a Pet Store next and for that I hope to receive more pet themed toys. Things such as stuffed animals, dog and cat toys, play dog foods, play leashes, collars, and carriers. I also plan to make an area in the "Pet Store" a place to groom the animals so students have the opportunity to learn about a new career regarding pets! I really feel that this will help students to have a more authentic play experience that goes with our curriculum.
