My Project
We are a kindergarten and second grade classroom that partners up to enhance learning for both grade levels. We hope to bring a desk pet adoption center to life in our classrooms. These tiny little erasers will bring great joy to our students. We will use these erasers for behavior incentives. We will read, Pigeon Wants a Puppy to the class. They will fill out "adoption papers" and then adopt a pet after they have earned enough ROAR slips (our schools behavior awards). The students will need to care for the pets and create a habitat for them.
This project will help students create plans, set goals, and feel a sense of accomplishment with having the ability to care for a "pet".
This project can boost our classroom community and allow the students to take on leadership roles. Not only is this a fun project, but it is a learning opportunity for all levels and abilities. This will be a project that will create lasting memories. Thank you for your support <3
