My Students
Our school is a Title I school in a rural county in Florida. We serve kindergarten through 5th grade. One hundred percent of our students receive free lunch, thanks to a grant our county received.
Our students live up to our school motto of PRIDE.
We challenge each student to be positive, respectful, independent, dedicated learners with high expectations. Our students rise to this challenge each and every day!
I teach Kindergarten with students of varying reading levels. I strive to help them become the best version of themselves. I want them to persevere, to change their mindset, to believe in themselves, and to know that their education is so important.
From the moment they walk in the door of my classroom, I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. It is my goal to inspire the earliest learners to continue on the path of academic excellence in a creative and positive way.
My Project
As a Kindergarten teacher, I get the honor of being the first teacher a student will have. One of the things I enjoy doing most is completing projects that will last a lifetime.
As the holidays are quickly approaching, my little friends want to make something that their parents will not only love but cherish forever.
The mugs, the painting set, and the brushes we are requesting will allow us to make our very own personalized masterpiece to give to our parents. Each student will receive a mug that they will be able to decorate and give to their parents. This mug will be baked and glazed so that their artwork will be preserved and enjoyed for many years to come.
Thank you for helping us create this special memory!
