This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I’m a Speech Pathologist in NYC public schools. My caseload involves children with special needs in a low income area. They do not have the ability to print sheets, so all therapy materials need to be interactive. I work with special needs children 3-11. Please help me support them the best I can, so that I can make all in-person sessions as productive as possible.
My Project
Remote children will miss out on all the personalized desks and classroom new year items. Wouldn’t it be great to get something from your teacher with your name or pictures personalized for your lesson. Here is a way to personalize what I send them, print at home for most isn’t an option so I will send them packets personalized with their names on it. Since I’m remote, I can understand what it’s like to see everyone else get cute stuff. I plan to send my littles ones items personalized for them!!!
